The controller user manual has good instructions on how to set up the Oracle monitor. Basically you need to install the Oracle client on the Controller, edit the tnsnames.ora file to include your database instance, get a username/password from a DBA that allows you access to the V$ tables, test your access, then follow the instructions in the manual to add the monitor. From there you just need to add the counters that you want to monitor.

Good luck,

Alan
