Re: How to assign single script to multi Load Generators

Hi Craig,

Thanks alot Craig!

One  final quick question.

How do I change the Group name, because when I select the Group Name it's showing the same as script  what I am trying to say is I want to differentiate from the Script Patch to Group Name.

See the atatched screenshot.

I want to change the CR_by_Transaction as Group B.How do I do that ? becuase Group Name is Chooser.

Thanks,

Raj

Re: How to assign single script to multi Load Generators

Hi Raj,

You can try following:

Option 01:

Step1: Select Scenario option >> click run/stop users
Step2: Click on drop down list under Load Generators column and click on “All Generators “button to assign load generators to specific group name in the Group Name column

Step3: Click ok button to view the following screen to reflect the load generators to the particular group name
Step4: Click Run button

Option 02:

After adding the script to scenario, go to load generator drop down
list section, meanwhile in seperate notepad note down your LG system
ips as here  10.x.x.x;10.x.x.x and copy these and paste in that LG
section of the script directly . Now you can see your LG ips seperated
by semi colon

Option 03:

if you are using the Controller go to run tab and add vuser in groups and select the controller from drop down and add vusers

Option 04:

Simply add the script to the scenario multiple times, and select a
different Load Generator each time. Divide your load among them how
ever you like.

Thank you,

Regards,

Ajay Kumar

Raj,

Please see the attached image that shows how you could set up your scenario with 4 load generators, 3 scripts, no more than 37 vusers per generator, 150 total vusers

Group names can be edited to be anything that you choose, as long as each group name is unique

Raj,

I think you need to open a case with support to have someone walk you through setting this up.  You seem to be having issues with controller that are beyond what can be resolved via the forumns.

When you add a script and you select a script that was already added it will automatically create a new group name with the same name as the script and add an _# to the end of the name.  The name of the group is really not important so I am not sure what you are trying to gain by renaming them.

Re: How to assign single script to multi Load Generators

Follow the steps below... These steps are basic whether u use HPPC or Standalone Controller.

Step1 : Create the scenario with % mode and add the script click OK

Step2: Then modify the % column as per your requirement

Step3: Now in the add Load generators column, click the dropdown and select the required LG's from the already populated list (Note: you cannot select the multiple LGS when you are in the "Vuser Group Mode")

Hope this helps
