How to record win32 application using Hp Vugen

I am trying to record an application which is installed on my desktop through Vugen. Not sure which protocol should be used.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi Hemant,

If your application is based on client installed in local machine and communicates with the server in remote location, then you can choose Winsock, ODBC Protocols.

Else, you might need to write the code manually as the loadrunner captures the communication between the client and server but not the client actions alone.

Use the protocol advisor which will let u know which protocol to use...
