How to use lrs.create_socket function in Load runner 9.5

I have recorded the script using RMI-JAVA protocol. I am using lrs.create_socket function in load runner 9.5. I have written as below

int rc;
char LrsLastArg;
lrs.create_socket("socket0","TCP","LocalHost=0",LrsLastArg);

while compilation it is giving me error as below.

D:\WAVE3\ET_Scripts\NavigateCustomer\Actions.java:239: cannot find symbol
symbol : variable lrs
location: class Actions
lrs.create_socket("socket0","TCP","LocalHost=0",LrsLastArg);
^
Note: D:\WAVE3\ET_Scripts\NavigateCustomer\Actions.java uses unchecked or unsafe operations.
Note: Recompile with -Xlint:unchecked for details.
1 error

Any help in regard to this is highly appreciated.

Re: How to use lrs.create_socket function in Load runner 9.5

Hi Amit,

As far as I know the function is lrs_create_socket which only works with WinSock Protocol (using C language).

I don't think lrs.create_socket function exists & will work with RMI protocol.

Thank you Archana for your reply.

Yes that is used for window socket protocol. It is not been used for RMI protocol.

This protocol is used by Windows socket protocol, not by RMI protocol.
