Http Sessions

Jump to solution
Hi Hamed,

We need to ask a question to you about Http Sessions in Performance Center. I will be very glad if you can help us. We generated some scripts on Vugen. We zip these scripts and upload them to Performance Center. Everything is clear till here. Then we create a new load test, and choose these scripts into it. In the workload tab we share 100 virtual users for each scripts that we already uploaded. Then we make them to run for 15 minutes. The point that we couldnt get here is If it gets a new session for the each request or each iteration? Because when we look at it from Tomcat side, we can see 150.000 sessions (with 100 vusers for 15 minutes). That's quite a lot, isnt it? We want only 1 session for each Virtual user. Is it possible to have it? If yes, how can we success it? I even couldnt get if I need to do sth on Vugen while generating script or on Performance Center (Runtime Settings) when I manage Load Test or maybe even on both, to have 1 session for each Vusers?

I hope that you can reply back as soon as possible, Thanks in advance.
Regards.
