Huge report is generating after clicking 'Geneare Report' link in web based applicaion,
This report size 64 MB (if we convert it to .pdf it is 600 pages).
This report is generating on same page (Different frame) after 3 to 4 min.

we have to do performance test for this page.

Re: Huge report is performance test

You may use Web if it communicates over http. You can capture the complete response and save the file to your hard disk. You may need to modify the script in such a way that it saves to your file system.

Re: Huge report is performance test

Hi Ravi,

As madthrt says, save this to your local hard drive, and be sure to have the vuser ID & &Iteration number on the filename so that every iteration of every vuser can save the report locally.

Re: Huge report is performance test

Madhu/David,

What I am trying to ask you is, which protocol is good for such type of performance test web click and script or web (html/http)?

Thanks

Re: Huge report is performance test

Ravi - I would suggest to go with web-http protocol if the application don't have any client side Java script activities.
