Is ALM 11 required to install Performance Center 11 Servers?

Although we are licensed for Performance Center, we typically run tests directly form the controller (PC 9.5.1). The PC licensing was primarily to have multiple controllers and share agent licenses. All scripts and scenarios are stored on shared servers (not in PC).

QUESTION: Do I have to install ALM or can I mimic our PC 9.5.1 install and install just the PC Servers?

For a standalone PC 11 install there is now the need to install the ALM Platform before installing PC. PC now resides on the ALM platform.

Is there a different version of ALM for Performance Center only installations?

HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is also available in three
editions which provide subsets of ALM functionality â HP Quality Center
Starter Edition, HP Quality Center Enterprise Edition, and HP ALM
Performance Center Edition.

The link I was supplied gave me the following file:

Is there a way that I can use HP Performance Center without ALM and by building my own website to access it's features ?
