Is it possible to have IP Spoofing in VMs?

Jump to solution

Hi,

As of now we are using the physical hosts for IP Spoofing. But the demand for the IP Spoofing is high now, so cost wise we are not able to go for Physical. So the question is,  in VM what is the possiblilty to have IP Spoofing?

We have high configure Virtual Machines, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 2.7GHz processer config in VMs, but is it possible to do the IP Spoofing in that machine.

Please advice. Thanks.

Finally got the answer.

Yes, we can have the IP spoofing in Virtual Machines, but before that need to lay the network routers with range of IP address.

Then configure the boxes with the spoofing address range, with use of the appropriate default gateway.
