Is there a limit on the number of users that can simultaneously record a wed app with VuGen ?

We have three scripters and when the second one tries to record they receive an error:

"HP Virtual User Generator-VuGen was unable to close all instances of Microsoft Windows Explorer.  Please close all Microsoft Internet Explorer Windows and process manually and start recording."

There are no windows open.  Any ideas?

Hello,

Your Scripters should NOT be sharing a single machines for creating scripts. to avoid this "unable to close all instances of Microsoft Windows Explorer" issue. get each scripter a machine of their own. the is not licensing issue  for Vugen.  I recommend  the each of the script get a  machine with the loadrunner Community edition installed.  just make sure the scripter Laodrunner version is the same as the loadrunner controller machine.

Hi David,

Thanks for the quick reply.  We run in a Citrix environment and our OS is Windows 12.

I have never tried to running Loadrunner Vugen within an Citrix environment before, My best guess is your Scripters are accessing the same instance when they need to have access to 3 independ instances within the Cirix environment
