Issue with Extended Storage for a "Run" object in COM4J(OTA) java

I am unable to download result files of each run from performance center using below code.

As per console, folder name ‘Test’ is not created under ecbd4862  in my local[The run download path: C:\Users\nu\AppData\Local\Temp\TD_80\TDAPIC~1\ecbd4862]. only FRC files[ActionsCust.frc,BreakdownTypesCust.frc.frc,etc.] are created after run this code.

Java Code :

IRunFactory runfactory = connection.runFactory().queryInterface(IRunFactory.class);
IList runlist = runfactory.newList("");
System.out.println("runlist count-->"+runlist.count());
String testDownLoadPath;
String tempStr = "";
for (Com4jObject runObj : runlist)
IRun run = runObj.queryInterface(IRun.class);
System.out.println(" Run name::"+ run.name()
+" Test Id::"+run.testId()+" Setid::"+run.testSetID()+" Run Id::"+run.id());
IExtendedStorage testStorage = run.extendedStorage().queryInterface(IExtendedStorage.class);
testDownLoadPath=testStorage.load("", true);
tempStr = String.format("The run download path: %1$s", testDownLoadPath);

Java output of above code:

Run name::AdhocRun_2014-02-11 15:37:07 Test Id::2 Setid::1 Run Id::1

The run download path: C:\Users\nu\AppData\Local\Temp\TD_80\TDAPIC~1\ecbd4862\Test\2\2\2\Run_1

Run name::AdhocRun_2014-02-11 15:39:29 Test Id::2 Setid::1 Run Id::2

The run download path: C:\Users\nu\AppData\Local\Temp\TD_80\TDAPIC~1\ecbd4862\Test\2\2\2\Run_2

Run name::AdhocRun_2014-02-11 15:43:23 Test Id::2 Setid::1 Run Id::3

The run download path: C:\Users\nu\AppData\Local\Temp\TD_80\TDAPIC~1\ecbd4862\Test\2\2\2\Run_3

Re: Issue with Extended Storage for a "Run" object in COM4J(OTA) java

This issue is could be related with the temp folder, since you path is too long in some cases it cannot be created the file, please change the temp folder by following these steps:

Steps for changing the TEMP folder:

  1. Log in to the Performance Center Host machine.
  2. Verify that the Wlrun.exe process is down.
  3. Open <installation folder>\config\Wlrun7.ini in a text editor.
  4. Add the line "UserRemoteTmpDir=<C:/TEMP>" under the '[Host]' section
  5. Save the changes.
