Looks like you do not have Pre-Req's installed.

try to install with admin rights from MSI installer.

LR_95_GA_DVD\lrunner\MSI\LoadRunner.msi

Let me know, how it goes now?

Thanks Sivaram for your reply.

When I first stated to install it listed the following to install...

01) .Net Framework 3.5
02) Microsoft Data Access Components
03) Microsoft core XML services 6.0
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package
04) Web Services Enhancements (WSE) 3.0 for Microsoft .NET Redistributable Run time MSI

Except the 2nd one all of them were installed and I rebooted once, I am getting this error when try to install the 2nd one. As it says in system requirements for OS Windows XP Professional SP2 or 3, my OS is Windows XP Professional "version 2002" SP2. Do you think these both OSs are different? I installed successfully 8.1.4 on this and its running good, I mean we have only VuGen, Generators and Analyzer on this OS, Controller is on Server 2003 OS.

Re: Issue with LoadRunner 9.5 installation

Thank you Fafo, I successfully installed Load Generators.

I have a question, when we installed 8.1.4 generators it asked manual login or automatic login (in this case we need to provide user id & password)while installing. So I gave a user id & password so even if I log off from that PC still I can able to connect to that generator from controller, no issues.

When I installing 9.5 load generator it didn't ask about that login option so I didn't provide. Now if I want to connect to generator from controller I need to login to that generator PC and I shouldn't log off from that computer if I want to stay with that generator.

What is the work around for even if I am connect to that generator can somebody log me off and can login with their user id with out interrupting me (they will not restart/shut down that PC for this).

Thanks!!

Hi CNUNEW

We can change configuration settings even after the installation is done.

To connect to load generator machine even when you are not logged in, just select "allow Vuser to run on this machine without user login" option and provide your user name and password.

path
Loadrunner-tools-loadrunner agent run time settings configuration

Hi,

I am encountering an issue while installing VUGen 9.5.

The issue is coming while installing the prerequisite programs:

Error Comment: Not enough staorage is available to process this command

However there is 4.8GB free space in C drive and 120 GB in D drive.

Kindly refer the screenshot (LR_Installation_Issue)

The Operating System is : Windows 2007 Service Pack 2 64 bit OS

Kindly refer the screenshot (Windows Details_1)

Please let me know if the issue is related to the OS version or the Windows Installer 3.1

Notes:

I found on one of the site, that the Installation Requirements for Loadrunner 9.5 is :

Operating System The following 32-bit Windows operating systems are supported:
Windows Vista SP1
Windows XP Professional SP2 or SP3
Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition/Enterprise Edition SP2

http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Performance-Center-Support-and/Installation-Requirements-for-Loadrunner-9-5/td-p/4430573

Please advice.

Thanks in Advance,

Jaya
