Jmeter Issue in LRE2020

Our jmeter install files are located in C:\apache-jmeter-3.2

user variable is set as    JMETER_HOME   C:\apache-jmeter-3.2

system variable is set as JMETER_HOME  C:\apache-jmeter-3.2

However when  a test is run we get the error 'The JMETER HOME variable is not configured'

We have logged a support ticket but it has been going back and forth for weeks and still no solution. They suggested the following but that also doesn't work

User variable      JMETER_HOME   C:\apache-jmeter-3.2\apache-jmeter-3.2\bin

System variable  JMETER_HOME  C:\apache-jmeter-3.2\apache-jmeter-3.2\bin

When we try the above we get the error " Error: The Java virtual machine (JVM) threw the following exception: java.io.FileNotFoundException: invalid C:\apache-jmeter-3.2\bin

Can anyone help with this issue?

Re: Jmeter Issue in LRE2020

Here are some suggestions.

1. Please check if the bin folder is under C:\apache-jmeter-3.2. If the bin folder is under C:\apache-jmeter-3.2\apache-jmeter-3.2, please set the system variable JMETER_HOME to C:\apache-jmeter-3.2\apache-jmeter-3.2.

2. Please note the new environment variable will not be applied to the existing application. So it would be necessary to restart the LG.

3. I am talking about the LG machine.
