LOADRUNNER - Socket Communication (JNLP)

Hi,
Am testing a application.
Which has the url
http//..../*.jnlp
When i open it in a browser, it gets all the jars in to local system and now there is no web browser and my application looks like a swing desktop app.
The Communication used to communicate is through a socket.
How to test such a application.
I recorded through WEB-HTTP/HTTPS protocol but it only records the url copy hit and after that as my app doesn't have a browser and looks like a desktop app its not recording anything.
Which protocol should i use?
Does LR supports socket communication?
Please can some one help me.

Try using Winsock/ Java Record/Replay protocols?

Ask your developers about the communication protocol.

Hi Madhu,

Thanks for the reply.
I tried WinSock and Java Record Replay.
Both did not work for me.
Any ways i am working with HP Support.
I will let you know if any solution by them works.
