LR 11 TruClient questions

Jump to solution
Hi,

F(){
/*
1 Action:Navigate to "mail.yahoo.com"
2 Action:Type "xxxxxxxx" in Yahoo! ID textbox
4 Action:Type â— â— â— â— â— â— â— â— â— in Password passwordbox
5 Action:Click on Sign In button
7 Action:Click on Sign Out link
8 Action:Verify You are signed out. 's Visible Text contains "You are signed out."
*/
};

My actual script is similar to the above script .
I recorded the script, replayed and ran successfully in Interactive Mode as well as in Load Mode later, I changed the Username on Interactive Mode.
Even with changed username I could able to run and replay successfully in Interactive Mode as well as Load Mode.
When I looked the Script the script has still shows the old Username.
I am wondering how come script shows still the old Username and runs successfully with the new Username?

Could someone please advise me!

It should be ok. Please go to interactive mode and you can see the updated values. Typically, you cannot do anything in the normal view and you just see a high level view.

Hi Madan,

Is there any Trouble Shooting Guide for Ajax TruClient?

Even though I installed all the patches, I didn't see much information in Vugen 11.0 Patch Userguide about Ajax TruClient.
and I didn't see any functions under Help--->Function Reference.

Please advise me!

Thanks,
Raj

Hi Madan,

I have already Ajax TruClient Tips & Tricks document.

Other than this do you have Ajax TruClient Troubleshooting Guide,which has errors and solution unlike other protocols in Vugen Guide Help document has.

Thanks,

Hi,

Could someone please advise me on the below!

Letâ s say I created a script using Test URL, later I have to run the script against the production URL.

If I create the script using the Test URL, later is it possible to change only the production URL.
I know I canâ t edit the script mode for Ajax TruClient Protocol.

Is it possible to change on Interactive mode i.e. embedded Firefox.

If so, does it effects to the remaining script

Thanks,
Raj

In general, I would say, you should be able to do it. Usually TEST and Production will have the same application running, so you should not face any problems when you change the part of the URL from Test to Production.
