Re: Load Balance, what value of VUGEN and Controller have to configure

Dear SPP_PC,

You are so kind ^___^
=====================================================================
When I use Web Browser - VIP Load Balance...there are 1 IP 3 Ports

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx P001 >>>Web
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx P002 >>>DB
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx P003 >>>AppServer+Picture
=====================================================================
I record only 1 URL "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx P001" via User Interface.
I understand that Load Balance is process in round robin ...

I doubt that
1...How is the process in round robin of Load Balance because I use only 1 IP in record ???
Or..I have use to record more than 1 IP and add script in Controller for Load test ???

2...Should I have to set Enable IP spoofer ???
What different between enable and disable for load Balance???

3...Can I use only 1 User ID LogIn for Load Balance or Load Test???
If I use only one user ID ,Will the result be fail than use many User ID ?
Because If I use different UserId for new record...session of userID will change at "web_custom_request" in URL...So I can use "web_create_html_param" to get session if I use different User ID or any value to get new session for different User ID.

Is it important to use "web_create_html_param" or have any value to get new sessionwhen seesion of each userId different ???

4...IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx P001 that I record
call WSDL for 2 IP
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx P002
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx P003

First Time>>>>
I load 200 concurrent>>>User can log in only 150 Concurrent and
@ Web >>>error
>>>Address alreay in use : connect..

@ Controller >>>Abnormal Termination >>>I guess Abnormal Termination is occur while user log in...

@ Controller >>>EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

Second Time >>>>
I load 100 concurrent>>>Some User can log in and run during load about 50 Concurrent and
@ Web >>>error
>>>No Buffer space available (maximum connections reached)

@ Controller >>>Abnormal Termination >>>I guess Abnormal Termination is occur while user log in...

I doubt that why I reduce number of concurrent for load from 200 (1st Load= log in 150 ) to 100 concurrent(2nd Load)...why (maximum connections reached) will happen in 2nd Load???

maximum connections reached didn't happen 1st load..

How to solve those error of 1st and 2 nd load ???

5.What is error "jssse2.util.h : No trusted certificate found" ???
How to solve this error???

I attached Pic for example...

Re: Load Balance, what value of VUGEN and Controller have to configure

hi,

Looks like too many issues.
Well some of the suggestions are listed
1. what is the protcol and version of Loadrunner?
2. Is the script running fine for multiple iterations in vugen?
3. web_create_html_param is refered to earlier verions of LR, You need to use web-reg_save_param for correlation

Details for Ip spoofing can be refered from Controller user guide->Enabling multiple addressing from Controller.

also ensure Data Execution Prevention(DEP) is turned off on the controller/vugen box.

hope this helps

Re: Load Balance, what value of VUGEN and Controller have to configure

1. what is the protcol and version of Loadrunner?
Web(http/html)
V9.5

2. Is the script running fine for multiple iterations in vugen?
Yes>>>Result pass but if you see at Replay Log it will show Error 404 of Java Script

3. web_create_html_param is refered to earlier verions of LR, You need to use web-reg_save_param for correlation
>>> Can we use web-reg_save_param for correlation when web_custom_request???
I understand that it can use correlate only step Server response.

Details for Ip spoofing can be refered from Controller user guide->Enabling multiple addressing from Controller.

>>>Actualiy I have to manually configure IP because System set Fire Wall....
Ip spoofing generate multiple addressing of Client ???

also ensure Data Execution Prevention(DEP) is turned off on the controller/vugen box
>>>
Have I click for essential windows or all programs (MyCom>>Properties>>Advanc>>PerformanceSetting>>>DEP)to turned off on the controller/vugen box ?

Finally,Thank you absolutely

Re: Load Balance, what value of VUGEN and Controller have to configure

I do not understand your problem for 100% but here is my 2 cents

generally the arch is

first user hit the LB(round robin or sticky) which balance the web servers, then request hit the app servers(generally one web server is associated with one app - I mean at the top load balancing is done there is not need to balance here) and then DB.

now if you need to load balance from the controller itself. what you can do is get all the web server URL and setup the parameter file with user and web server URLs. this way you can balance the web server from controller.
