Load Runner Global Schedules/Scenarios

Is anyone having difficulty understanding Load Runner v9.0 global scheduling/scenrio building? On v 8.1 LR you could assign the number of virtual users to each group. Under v9.0 it seems you cannot.

Are you using "Manual Scenario" or "Goal-Oriented Scenario"? It sounds like you selected Goal-Oriented when you created your scenario and in that case it adjusts the number of users to reach the goal. Try creating a new scenario and selecting "Manual Scenario" and make sure that "Use the Percentage Mode..." option is unchecked.

In the Readme of the LR installation ("Start" > "All programs" > "LoadRunner" > "Readme") you will find a video about the new scheduler under "New Feature Videos".

LoadRunner Scheduler: To view a video of this feature, click here.

Notes: In a default installation the file should be located here: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mercury/LoadRunner/dat/Scheduler.avi

The scheduler behaves differently than on 8.1 I try to see the "video" under loadrunner->readme and only get the audio and the Windows Media Player "eye candy" and no picture. It's pretty hard to follow without the video. What player is supposed to be used to see the video?

Thanks,

Mike
