LoadRunner script running long on some machines

Hello,

I have a script that I created on a PC running IE7 and WinXP SP3. When I replay that script on that machine, it runs very quickly (as I would expect), taking less than 10 seconds to complete. When we run that same script (in a 1 user scenario even) on a Windows Server 2003 or even a Windows7 machine, it takse far too long to complete - maxing out at 85 seconds. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Is there some setting I might be missing? I have checked that the run-time settings are the same on all machines (running under Mozilla 4.0 MSIE7.0 compatible). I'd appreciate any insight anyone could give.

Thanks in adavance!

Re: LoadRunner script running long on some machines

Hi, as a work around, try running the script from the command prompt (on the slower machine).
Let me know if this is faster.

Re: LoadRunner script running long on some machines

I have run from a command prompt on one of the troublesome machines and it is VERY fast. What could be the cause of such a discrepancy? I need to be able to run the script scenario (x users over y minutes, etc.) from the application itself, not the command line, and get the desired results.

Hi Kerri,

In the RTS, please check for the bandwidth settings. You may be using maximum bandwidth in PC whereas Windows7 machine might have limitations in bandwidth.
