Loadrunner upgrade from 9.5 to 11.0

Dear All,

I am trying to upgrade our loadrunner version from 9.5 to 11.5. We have received the converted license file  (11.50 ) from HP. Unfortunately, it doesnt work and gives an error “There is no valid license”.

Please let me know what could be the issue. We have already uninstalled the 9.5 version and installed 11.0.

Note that the upgrade is done on the same host.

We are kind of stuck.

Appreciate your inputs.

Re: Loadrunner upgrade from 9.5 to 11.0

Dear Nadeem,

There is a different licensing mechanism used for LoadRunner 11.x and LoadRunner 11.5x. Could you please confirm what is your current version of LoarRunner?

From your description I understand that you have upgraded to LR 11 and you are trying to install license for LR 11.50 but they are not compatible.

You have 2 options:

  1. to upgrade to LoadRunner 11.5x. The latest version is LR 11.52 patch 1 and use the current  LR 11.50 license or
  2. to use your current installation of LR 11 but the license should be reissued. For reissuing the license you should open a licensing ticket with HP support.

Kind regards,
