Monitoring linux through Sitescope

Wanted to check what other access we need in order to monitor linux through sitescope.    SSH access is already granted.  Do we need to grant any Read permissions to the Linux OS files  so that Sitescope can grab performance metrics from linux host machines?

Documentation doesn't really list all access details.

Re: Monitoring linux through Sitescope

Cant remember the exact details, but i guess Sitescope functions by either grabbing output from the rstatd daemon or by running remote commands on the performance statistics.

So you will need user access to the machine to do these commands / access these files.
