(PC) Support tip: In PC12.20, analyze results operations throws errors due to 0 map file size

To get around the errors during analyze results phase when map file size is is 0, do the following:

1) On the corresponding Controller host where analysis operation is performed, locate the file wlrun7.ini (usually under Windows\system 32 folder)

2) Add the flag 'eve_version=2', save the changes and close the file

3) Now reattempt the analyze results operation

If the above step fails, need to contact Support with entire raw results folder showing the 0 size map files to troubleshoot it further

Re: (PC) Support tip: In PC12.20, analyze results operations throws errors due to 0 map file size

Hi

Now I am not really with you here. In a Performance Center installation the analysis operation is done by the host with "Data processor"-role. Do this tips mean that this change should be done on the the Data-processor or should it still be applied to the controller? And also will it have any other sideeffects other than fixing this problem?

Hi Ola,

The analysis happens on the controller (even it is not DP) if you choose "Collate and analyze" when running tests.

Thanks,

Ivo

That is correct. If "collate and analyze" is chosen as part of test execution, this operation is done by the Controller host. For late analysis, it uses DP. This change is done on Controller and will not have any other impact

Thanks
