PC host status unreliable

Anyone experience with unreliable host status?
We have a PC platform (4 controllers, 10 load generators). Status of the hosts is completely unreliable, and continuously switches between red and green. All pre-requisites are met, yet can't get the status to be reliably green. We have replaced the default IUSR_METRO user with another user succesfully, to no avail. Services are running fine on the hosts, yet Admin Site reports them invalid.

Re: PC host status unreliable

Hi

First check yourself if there is any packet drops between them. If not check with your network team if any restrictions on the packet size which is basically defined with MTU. Also diverisified Half Duplex & Full duplex configurations on network devices also causes so much disruptions in the communication channel.

Thanks,
Raj

Re: PC host status unreliable

Are you using virtual machines and SiteScope to monitor the hosts? On a VM the cpu% is unreliable and often says 100%. The status will turn red then.
If you use SiteScope, check the SiteScope data in the Status tab of the host to see the cause of the red status.

The cause of the red status varies heavily. Usually it's the three services which show red (or one of them). CPU, Memory and disks seem to be consistently green.

@Rajasekhar Gundu:
in our company we operate in a very strict R&R modus, so I have asked our network engineers to investigate your suggestions.
