Jump to solution
I installed Performance Center 9.5 and configured it in windows 2003 with SQL server 2005.
Whene I tray to do a trial loadtest after configurat it, I get this error :
" Cannot run the Load Test. Unable to retrieve available project's timeslots "

And in the Event Log i found this message :

Is you DB set to SQL 2000 compatibility?

It has been a while since I ran into this, but it is caused by one of two things, if memory serves:

1. You need to select "Allow project users to override selection" in the project definition, or

2. This is an error that will result if you try to configure a load test on an unlicensed version of Performance Center.

Thank you James.

the error message is : Failed to initialize Load Test.

i Checked "DataCollectionAgent" service and is running on the controller machine.

OK - then this is most likely a firewall issue. You need to review the 'HP Performance Center System Configuration and Installation Guide', starting with page 181 'Working with Firewalls'.

Also, make sure you test the LoadGenerator locally by using the web service test page:

http://localhost/PCWS/ConfigWS.asmx

1. Can you correctly resolve http://localhost/PCWS/ConfigWS.asmx ?

2. Is IUSR_METRO still a member of the Administrators group?
