Gone through the ports document mentioned in HP support sites for all the ports required for PC, however it does nto mention anything about the source and destination type (like it is bidrectional or uni directional). I have got following list of ports information, however network team is requesting for the source and desitnation ports along with type.
Can you please add more clarification to this.
Component Ports for HP Performance Center 12.20
HTTP for Jetty Web server: 8080 * **
ALM server HTTP for IIS Web server: 80 * **
HTTP (80) * **
Performance Center Server TCP (3333, 54245)
Performance Center Host TCP (3333, 5001, 5002, 5003, 54245, 54345)
Database TCP (1433 (SQL))
Repository (sharing with the SQL Server) NetBIOS
Standalone Load Generator TCP (5001, 5002, 5003, 54245, 54345)
HTTP/TCP (443) **
MI Listener TCP (50500)
Application under test Any; HTTP (Random)
SiteScope - Topology HTTP (8080) , HTTP (8888)
All these ports mentioned below should be bi-directional. In most of the scenarios there is going to be communication happening between 2 ALM/PC components due to which these ports have to be opened bi-directional
