Query regarding recording HLL API calls through load runner

Hi,

I need to record a application which send input to the mainframe application through hll api.
The tool i am using is load runner.

Can anyone suggest me the correct configuration of load runner while recorded, so that i can capture all the events.

Thank you

Not very informative descriptions.

On what, exactly, are you using it?

Re: Query regarding recording HLL API calls through load runner

Hi Steven,

The application i want to record is a web application(thick client).

It integrates itself with a mainframe application for some data.

The communication to the mainframe application happens through the HLL API calls.

I am able to record the web part though load runner , but while recording if any request is going to the mainframe application , i am not able to capture any event for that.

Kindly let me know if you need more details.

any help on this would be appreciated.

What are the computers here? On which kind
of system are you using "load runner"?

Define "mainframe".
