Re: Scenarios created in PC 11 crashing controller in PC 11.52

HI,

Wlrun.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION normally means that Controller doesn’t have access to perform a process. I not sure if this is a new PC11.52 Host machine and if this issue occurs with every scenarios. Please try:

1-    Disable DEP

2-    Disable UAC

3-    Disable IEC

In addition please run the Controller as Administrator.

Re: Scenarios created in PC 11 crashing controller in PC 11.52

Thanks for your response.

Let me try to steps as suggested by you.

This is not a new host machine. It was PC Host 11 and then upgraded to PC Host 11.52.

Controller crash only happens when all the scenarios created in PC 11 are opened.Scenarios created in 11.52 works fine

Re: Scenarios created in PC 11 crashing controller in PC 11.52

Hi Sanjeev

Above information shows a migration problem. Please try:

1- Login into ALM Site Administration

2- Go to Site Projects tab

3- Select one of the problematic projects

4- Perform Verify Project and check that the project version is 11.50

5- If it is 11.00 you need to upgrade it

6- Perform a Repair Project

7- Check again

If that not work I suggest you open a service request.
