Setup Performance Center Load Generator Host in Azure cloud via Proxy

I'm currently using AWS Cloud based PC Host LoadGen machines.  These are not provisioned from AWS but are part of my companies private cloud.  We are now talking about adding in Azure cloud machines for our applications.  I need to find out if there are issues with Load Generator's setup on Azure, specifically having to use a Proxy to communicate with them.  I've got a Perf Engineer asking me this for their project, so I don't have all the specifics of what they want (don't ask, getting more in-depth info has been painful).

Any insights about using Azure to host PC Host Load Generators on a private cloud setup (in Azure) is appreciated.  Thanks.

And yes, I will submit this question to support as well.

Re: Setup Performance Center Load Generator Host in Azure cloud via Proxy

Hi Jim,

In general if you can connect through proxy to the machines in Azure from your company's private cloud there should not be an issue to connect to the Load Genrators that were setup in Azure.
It is more a matter of networking and trust boundaries.
