String to Parameter

Hi,

I need to save a string value into a parameter that already exists in the parameter list.

lr_save_string(ireference,"refinternal");

In the above case it creates a new parameter by the name refinternal.

What I need exactly is to save the ireference value into a parameter refinternal which is in my parameter list and is of type file. So that I can use the value generated amongst different scripts.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Sukhmani

Re: String to Parameter

You cannot do this by using the lr commands. You will have to use file handling techniques to create a file and update it with the values and later read the file and use them in your request. File handling commands is the only option.
