Tester Managing Performance Center

Will a Testing engineer be keen in taking administration activities as additional responsibilities OR a Performance Center Administrator can also do Performance Testing using Loadrunner and VuGen Scripting

I came across a situation where a Performance Tester is expected to do the following as additional responsibilities.

1. HP ALM Performance Center administration

2. VuGen Script code troubleshooting

3. Build/maintain the HP ALM, Performance Center, loadrunner dashboards

2. Create HP ALM PC/Loadrunner test scripts.

Re: Tester Managing Performance Center

We have customers that their PC admin is also contributing to the testing efforts and others where PC admin owns only administration related tasks, for PC and other products.

I think keen is rather strong word for that. It really depends on the individual. Some enjoy it others prefer to stick with pure performance engineering.
