Unable to run captured script

Hi,

I have LR 9.5 with Windows Vista & IE-7. Captured a script for an application which I work upon. When I want to rerun the script I get an error in a pop up window

Failed to load temporary action file (C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\vuac_usr16), restoring original file.
Check that the TMP directory is not full or write protected.

If I click on OK on that pop up window, I get another window which says,

Your code could not be compiled.
You must correct your script in order to open the Workflow Wizard.

And,

Replay log has the following,

c:\program files\hp\loadrunner\scripts\pcmv3\\combined_PCMV3.c:3: vuser_init.c: No such file or directory
c:\program files\hp\loadrunner\scripts\pcmv3\\combined_PCMV3.c:5: vuser_end.c: No such file or directory

Kindly help

Re: Unable to run captured script

there are 2 work around for ur problem,

1) cleanup ur temp folder.

2) if even after 1. work around ur script doesnot run then save the script in a different name in a different place.

Hope this will help u.

Thanks,

Re: Unable to run captured script

I opened the script with LR 9.5 and clicked on save as, got an error

Stack trace written to file: C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\vsstack
Invalid object handle

Clicked on OK button on the pop up, saved the script with different name. I have the same issue as previously mentioned, cannot run the script.

Also if I click on verify replay I get the error,

Your code could not be compiled.
You must correct your script in order to open the Workflow Wizard.

Re: Unable to run captured script

I am currently facing the same problem and the only solution is to replace the files in your current script with files from your backup.

If you do not have a backup, then yes you would need to re-record the script.

Were you able to resolve this on your own? If yes then how did you do it?

Thanks.
