VUGEN 11.04 AND XENAPP 6.5

Hi,

I have a problem with the registration of the protocol citrix vdi.

I selected the multi-protocol web / html + critriX ica client, but when I run the registration traffic is not recognized.

launch the recording starting from the URL of the application :
https://xxxxxxxxxxxxx/Citrix/CitrixVDIWeb/

screenshots: http://www.collecchioc5.com/download/vdi.jpg

- Xenapp and 6.5
- Citrix Client version 12.1.0.30
- VuGen 11.04

where am I wrong?

VuGen 11.04 is compatible with xenapp 6.5?

thanks

Re: VUGEN 11.04 AND XENAPP 6.5

It is supported since 11.3, if the problem is no recording after launching citrix check maybe the environment, disabling AV, DEP settings, your client is 32 bit.

Re: VUGEN 11.04 AND XENAPP 6.5

Record sample web script and check if VUGen can capture the traffic.

if so, Follow instructions suggested by Mario

Disable IE enhanced configuration settings

  1. Modify XeApp Settings:
    • connect to the XenApp server through a web interface.
    • Select Preferences > Session Settings and set Window Size to No Preference.
  2. Update Correlation Rules
    • Recording options -> HTTP Properties ->Correlation -> Check 'Citrix _XenApp'
  3. Modify Recording Options
    • Open the General > Recording node of the Recording Options dialog box.
    • Select Advanced HTML to open the Advanced HTML dialog box.
    • Select A script containing explicit URL’s only.
