VUGen Scripting Ariba Buyer Application

Hi, Im scripting a Ariba Buyer application using HTTP/HTML protocol. While recording, I used the in buil correlation rules available for Ariba Application (AribaBuyer,Ariba Buyer_Common, Ariba Buyer_UI). The script recorded fine and the replay was successful for one day. But the next day the script would replay successfully. It was failing to find a dynamic value("AwrValue334",
"LB=var AWResponseId = '",
"RB=';",
which was auto correlated by the rule set) in http://{APPURL}/Buyer/Main/ad/webjumper link . We had initially recorded it using URL based recording and repeated the recording with HTML based recording. Still the same kind of issue persists. The body of the HTTP request to http://{APPURL}/Buyer/Main/ad/webjumper contains a very long value with the text "SingleSignOnDigitalCertificate" in it. Can the problem be related to this Certificate value? If so, how to handle it .

I have also given a cookies cleanup function call in the vuser_init section.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: VUGen Scripting Ariba Buyer Application

Hi Mathura,

Check out if you really need that correlation you can verify it by recording two similar scripts and comparing them to find out dynamic values. If that correlation is not required then you just can remove it from the auto correlation and regenerate the script.

If it is single sign on then it must be asking for NTML authentication to generate script code, there you must have provided the credentials. There is nothing much to do related to single sign on.

Thanks
