VuGen Parameter that is dynamically created

We are trying to run a script in VuGen (11.52) HTTP/HTML protocol that has a CSRF token variable that is dynamically created by the Spring Security Framework.  This field needs to be passed as a parameter.  Is there a way to capture this field in a parameter field when you cannot view it during the extended replay log?  Thanks!

Re: VuGen Parameter that is dynamically created

Hi,

Well if this value is coming back from the server for one of the requests and you see it as part of a response header or body (can be viewed in extended log with RTS->log->extended-> all 3 options including data returned from server is checked), you can correlate this value (capture it dynamically into a variable and pass that as a parameter to the corresponding step that is using this value) or if it is something client generated, you will need to manually implement that logic into the script

Thanks

Re: VuGen Parameter that is dynamically created

Thanks for the quick response.  Since it is client generated, can you direct me to where I can find instructions for how to manually implement that logic into the script?
