HI team, I am using Vugen
Can anyone please tell me answer of following questions...

1) what is the scenario where we have to compulsory edit Vugen script instead of making changes through UI?

2) What difference does it make HTML recording level and URL recording level?

3)what are the dyanamic values that we can correlate manually? what is scope of manual correlation?

You can used the customisation as u need in the scripts

2) What difference does it make HTML recording level and URL recording level?

Please find attachement

3)what are the dyanamic values that we can correlate manually? what is scope of manual correlation?

dynamices value which cant be auto-corellated needs to be correlate manually(the value for the server response is different in each state..for example view state, date etc..
Cheers!

Re: VuGen

I can answer your third question:
The Correlation means to get the Dynamic data if you script a citrix application.
You have to do the editing in the script.
Run the Http/https script.
Edit that script with the additional code you will find out in HP Correlation manual.
Run that edited new script that will generate the .ica file. That file will later used in Citrix scripts.

The Citrix script used this techniques for correlation. The normal script will work if you select the correlation and do manual correlation so let the system do by selection the correlation option.
