Vugen - Script Syntax - help needed

Jump to solution
Hi,

I need to make the value part of the select row syntax as a variable.

ITEMDATA,
"Name=SAPEVENTQUEUE", "Value=SapTable_RowSelect~E002Id~E004{TableId36}~E005RowIndex~E004{RowNum}~E005RowUserData~E004~E005AccessType~E004STANDARD~E003~E002ResponseData~E004delta~E005ClientAction~E004submit~E003~E002~E003", ENDITEM,

In the above statement {RowNum} is a parameter.

But what do I do if i have a variable like -
int iRow;
iRow = 5;

and I want to pass the value of this variable in the above statement.

I tried putting {iRow} but it dint work.

Pleas help.

Thanks...

that's because iRow is not a LoadRunner parameter.

Try this: lr_save_int(iRow, "iRow"); this will create iRow as a LR param and once this web request is processed by load runner the iRow will be evaluated( the value stored in this parameter will be sent instead of the parameter name).

Don't forget to do this before the web request.

thanks

Got it. Need to save as parameter first using lr_save_int.
