Both are a kind of synonyms. Concurrent is nothing but running the users in parallel where each user will be performing the tasks independently but parallelly on the test. Where as Simultaneous is nothing but to start all the vusers simultaneously which is all at a time and will be running on the script by performing the same task at a time.
