lrs_save_param in win socket

Hi Experts,

we have coorelate the one win sock script using the below function

lrs_save_param("socket0", Null, "session_id", 253, 8);

can anyone explain what is Null refers to ?

what is the difference between buffer descriptor and null descriptor
