response

when browesd the application through the Internet explorer, the application response was good the pages were dowloading fast, but the same when trying to record the action using load runner the application response was poor and the pages dowloading was consuming more time. While replaying the recoreded script the response time was good.
Could any one explaion me why the response time was slow while browsing through the load runner

Re: response

I would be slower because LR is recording all the data to and from the application.

Re: response

Hi Mahadev,

There is difference between the browser navigation of the application to fetch corresponding transaction response time and loadrunner processed response time. Because in the browser it maintains the cache and simplye loads the data , for the first time it will consume the time to do the page rendering and buffering ...etc. and then it loads more faster.

As the LoadRunner will make the calls using API level , with it involves the server respone and parsing of the data to give complete response of a transaction response time. But on load it will give the correct statistics , So nvever consider the  Vugen as the standard tool, but the response times given by  Performance center or Controller will give exact response times of the transaction even for 1 user need to check there itself. (Vuegn is just checking script pass or fail).

Thanks,

Surya Kosuri.
