unable to authenticate performance center 12.55 via rest API

hello,

im unable to authenticate PC using REST API.

GET

http://cldcer0srv08680.itservices.sbc.com/LoadTest/rest/authentication-point/authenticate

authorization: Basic cnMwNzFtOkNoYW5kaWdhcmhAMTIz

getting below error

There was an error connecting to http://cldcer0srv08680.itservices.sbc.com/LoadTest/rest/authentication-point/authenticate.
Why this might have happened:
The server couldn't send a response:
Ensure that the backend is working properly
Self-signed SSL certificates are being blocked:
Fix this by turning off 'SSL certificate verification' in Settings > General
Proxy configured incorrectly
Ensure that proxy is configured correctly in Settings > Proxy
Request timeout:
Change request timeout in Settings > General

I'm able to login to performance center from Browser and also ping the servername from command prompt

Re: unable to authenticate performance center 12.55 via rest API

Hi Rohit192,

Please check the proxy settings on the browser and make sure that the library you are using for sending the REST requests is using the machine's proxy settings or explicitly supply the proxy settings to the client being used to send the HTTP requests.

Eyal
