Capturing a new window in Oracle Web

Hi All,

I am trying to record an application in oracle web protocol. I have recorded the scripts and when i try to replay that , its getting failed.

Upon clicking an item in the application, it opens another oracle form in a new window. The function nca_set_window captures the name of the new form populated while scripting. And I have to perform some operations in New window.

But during replay, its unable to capture that form. It keep on searching for the object in existing window (Home)  and getting failed. Below is the error.

Window or object is not displayed.
The window currently in focus: "Home"

Kindly share me your view to solve this issue.

Re: Capturing a new window in Oracle Web

Hi Dhinakarsengayan123

This usually happens because there is value that need to be correlated, usually a session id, and since it not correlated, a new session ID is generated by Oracle for each new process/user.
Please check the below link for correlations. https://softwaresupport.softwaregrp.com/doc/KM170043

Also, on this link are several recommendations about how to works with Oracle NCA protocol.
