Copy data on clipboard from LoadRunner 12.02

Hi All,

I am using multi protocol script i.e. Citrix + web HTTP,

My application is opening using Citrix ICA file. I am copying data into clipboard from tab seperate file and application provides a provision to paste from clipboard by right click on that window .

Hence I need a solution to  copy "tab separated file content" or a string for example to clipboard.

Does Loadrunner 12.02  has any functions to  interact with clipboard?

Kindly help to solve this Problem.

Re: Copy data on clipboard from LoadRunner 12.02

If you enabled javascript, in web http/html you can use the below code to copy the text.

document.execCommand("Copy");

function myFunction() {
var copyText = document.getElementById("inputBox");
copyText.select();
document.execCommand("Copy");
alert("Copied the text: " + copyText.value);
}

Re: Copy data on clipboard from LoadRunner 12.02

Thanks Naveen but my application is using web HTTP protocol only till citrix login.

After the citrix login we are moving totally using citrix protocol. Hence we cannot use JavaScript there.

We have written c code to copy the file contents into char array.But we need a solution to copy the char array into clipboard using c code.

Can you please suggest solution in these lines or are there any Loadrunner utility function to copy contents to clipboard?
