Difference between SAP Web and Web(HTTP/HTML) Protocols.

Hello Experts,

Just want to understand, if there is any difference between SAP Web and Web(HTTP/HTML) loadrunner protocols?

If yes, what difference it would?

If no, can we use the regural web(HTTP/HTML) protocol for SAP application, instead of purchasing licence for SAP protocol?

Simillary, what would be the difference between SAP(Click and Script) vs SAP GUI protocol.

Please advise.

Re: Difference between SAP Web and Web(HTTP/HTML) Protocols.

SAP Web protocol contains extended correlation abilties, specific for the SAP applications, which are not present in the Web HTTP protocol.

SAP GUI and SAP C&S protocols have nothing in commong. The former records SAPGUI (a thich client application), while the latter records a browser.
