Difference between VTS and parameterization ?

Could anyone please explain the difference between VTS and parameterization?

How can I integrate VTS in Performance center?

Re: Difference between VTS and parameterization ?

Hi

Parametrization : read data from files (mainly ) .

During replay of script each parameters used like a  variable .

It’s the common and easy way to work .

The Virtual Table Server (VTS) : is an in-memory database that can be used to share data between virtual users.

this useful when you need to pass data from vuser to vuser on runtime .

it’s certainly a much neater solution than writing to a file and having each VUser check the value in the file on every iteration.

But it’s also little more complicate to implement .

One of the limitations of LR  is that a parameter file cannot be shared between different scripts,

or between instances of the same script running on different load generators. VTS is an easy way to maintain a single data pool

If you have any more question , please let me know
