Duplicate Transaction Names not allowed in TruClient?

Jump to solution

So am I right in understanding that TruClient doesn't allow more than one transaction with the same name? We use this all the time in our regular VuGen scripts because we visit the same page, (the "Home" page for example) more than once during a load test. If you give each transaction a different name, the load test doesn't average the response times together.

Is this something that will be changed in a future release? We're using VuGen 12.53.

Hi,

You can use the same transaction in different places in the script by using TC.startTransaction and TC.endTransction API's in Evalaute JavaScript steps.
