Error -205177: ** 3: Navigate to "#####" ** failed - end event error due to network timeout.

Jump to solution

Hi.

I've created a script, in TruClient (IE) VuGen 12.50. I've run the script through Both TruCLeint and Vugen auto. It executes properly under both. When I create a scenario and run the script there I always get this error "Error -205177: ** 3: Navigate to"#####" ** failed- end event error due to network timeout.

I have manually walked through the whole script on the LoadGnerator to confirm it can access everything.

HAving looked at other solutions, I have inserted a wait before this step and set it to Action Complete and still get the same error.

Hello,

Is the navigation step, which times out, located inside a group step that has "Step network completed" end event by any chance?

Please make sure that the step that fails does not have network related end event.

Thanks,

Shlomi

Hi,

Have you tried to increase the time out in Run Time Setting? How many Vusers did you run on the scenario?

Yes, I have increased the timeouts in the run time setting. and I have been using only 6 vUsers, but I have tried with only 1 as well. Even with 1 vUSer I still get the same error.

I changed: maximum time for object-not-found

Interstep interval

End-of-network timeout

increasing each of them.

Hi,

Could you please enable Snapshot on error then run the test again and kindly share the snapshot of that failed step?

Thank you.

The navigation step was not located inside a group step at all.

It looks like changing the Step network completed to "Action Completed" and it works.
