Error: Connect can not be established - Last Citrix error=13

Jump to solution

Hi,

Getting the error below, while replaying the script in VUGEN

Recorded the script for a citrix application using multiple protocol (citrixICA  and  Web-http/html)

Error: Connect can not be established - Last Citrix error=13 (Unsupported function), last client error=0 (Unknown client error 0)

Please let me know the solution if anyone have faced this issue.

Hi,

If you are new to LR Citrix protocol it is highly recommended to view this presentations:
Citrix Webinar Series - Session 1 - Functional Overview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHLqLLAgliU)
Citrix Webinar Series - Session 2 - Troubleshooting (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foHhjqsCkos)
that explains common and frequently asked questions about Citrix.

For this specific error try solution explained here: https://performanceengineeringsite.wordpress.com/2016/11/15/citrix-error-connect-can-not-be-established-last-error-13-last-client-error-0/

Hi,

Citrix Error 13 is a general error code that actually may mean any error for which Citrix do not provide specific code.
From experience - usually it happens in Performance Center and BPM environments where Citrix Client processes (wfica32.exe, wfcrun32.exe, concentr.exe, receiver.exe…) are running in sessions other than Vugen (or mdrv.exe) session.
It seems to be this very case - notice the warning in replay log "There are Citrix processes running under another users".
Please use TaskManager or ProcessExplorer to find and kill all these processes and try to replay the script again.

BTW,  I've just mentioned your script is saving web-response as an ICA-file and then passes it to ctrx_set_connect_opt().
Actually, this is very old (and exceptionable) trick. Did you try to record the script to get ctrx_nfuse_connect() instead?
