Errors trying to execute Truclient vugen script made with Truclient Browser

Hi!,

I just made a vugen script using the new browser released in v12.56 "Truclient browser", based in firefox v40.

From BSM 9.26, I deployed script to a BPM v9.40 and when script is executed, inmediatly is failing whit these errors:

25/05/2018 05:17:46 Error: Exception was raised when calling per-process-init function in extension LrTcMdrvGenericExtension: System Exceptions: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION [MsgId: MERR-10492] 25/05/2018 05:17:46 Error: Thread Context: Call to service of the driver failed, reason - thread context wasn't initialized on this thread. [MsgId: MERR-10176]

I was searching about these errors and I found about corrupt files after installation. I reinstalled app but errors continue appearing.

Any idea about these errors?

Regards

Angel

Re: Errors trying to execute Truclient vugen script made with Truclient Browser

Hi Angel,

TruClient Browser is only available in TruClient versions 12.56 and above.

BPM 9.40 only supports LoadRunner and TruClient versions up to 12.55. Running scripts from newer versions is not supported.

It should be supported in newer versions of BPM (9.50 and above).

Note that in version 12.56, TruClient Browser is equivalent to Firefox version 55, not 40.

Re: Errors trying to execute Truclient vugen script made with Truclient Browser

Hi Edo Nir, thanks for your answer but, are you sure that BPM 9.40 doesn't support loadrunner 12.56?

I was checking Support Matrix and I can see that BPM 9.40 is compatible with 12.55, 12.56 and 12.57 versions as you can see attached

Hi Angel,

I am sure. This information and Support Matrix is incorrect.

Can you share the source, so I can check and try to correct it?

You can contact me in a private message if it cannot be shared publicly.

Re: Errors trying to execute Truclient vugen script made with Truclient Browser

Hi,

Hope you are doing fine.

I am facing an issue in BPM 9.50 using vugen 12.62.

Error is “Script version (12.62.703.0) is newer than TruClient version (12.55.1333.0).”  how I can solve that issue? Kindly help.

Best Regards

Hi MikeAlpha,

I think you should upgrade LoadRunner to 12.62 to run your script.
