Facing issue with SAML in Vugen script at Login.

Jump to solution

Hi All,

We are facing issues at login page. When we are hitting a particular url say www.google.com it is redirecting the request to SAML with the url change as www.google.com/ Saml request value.com. The value here is in an encrypted format with atleast 1024 bit size. We are unable to correlate it as this is not captured in the tree view. The Saml value is changing everytime manually. We need your help on this.

regards,

Jasper

Not sure what business process would  be, but you can only work with SAML in a Web Services script, by working with it's tokens. You wouldnt be able to use it in Web protocol.

Hi Mario,

We are using web http/html protocol, vugen version is 11.00.
We are hitting a web url for logging in,but it seems the link is adding an sml request beacause of which the script fails.

Eg:if the link we are hitting is http://google.com/ it adds this
http://google.com/SAMLRequest:
_2EHSUDTMPSNaPl838vXWne48bMXZqC9V2vS98B95sCQ09QZahPlRDSfsDbc0xDd_bvS57xvwdW7r3J_6k_pdh_3pEFcekJRxAtWkFyWAIL2J.kd5Yubp4HCd52Ue2wQy_1LFPGtalwp5u2Z7ZwNXiZikfSz85h9tdYBiWbM3dE7cS.TsyLIG2wFMgpjwLzB0L0PEZKODHMtxlVXaycGYuMgC2vQcRLg

which we are unable to correlate. Your valuable inputs are highly appreciated.

Jas

Hi Jasper,

We are facing the same issue during our scripting for a login page in a web application that uses SAML assertion and we are unable to correlate the SAML response.

We are using LR 12.55 and the protocol we are using is HTTP/HTML Web.

Please let us know how you went about with the issue, any input or suggestion is highly appreciated.
