Re: HP Load Runner Controller is not Responding

Hi

So sometimes it works well, not all the time - this is an improvement 🙂

what OS are you using? are you an administrative user on this machine? can you try creating a sceario directly from Vugen and see if this re-creates?

Thanks,

Lior

Re: HP Load Runner Controller is not Responding

ok, next question:

what are the OS specifications? RAM, HD, CPU count?

is there an Anti Virus SW installed on the machine? if so, can you disable it for the purpose of testing?

Do you see anything written in the machine Event log?

Thanks,

Lior

Re: HP Load Runner Controller is not Responding

Hi

1 processor is not enough I'm afraid...

the minimal specification is at least 4 CPU's - this may cause the type of distruptions you are describing.

if this is a VM, can you try and increase the number of CPUs?

and if not, can you try on a machine with at least 4 CPUs and let us know?

Thansk,

Lior

Re: HP Load Runner Controller is not Responding

Hello,

I think it should not be an issue with CPU.

Because on the same machine i was able to run multiple load test for a week and this problem started from yesterday.

I dont have other machine having more CPU where i can try opening controller.

Thanks,

Rahul

Re: HP Load Runner Controller is not Responding

So issues started only from yesterday?

what changed from yesterday to today?

the only thing I can think of is that some sort of update was done to the machine.

if it is part of a large IT frame work, it is possible your IT administrator installed a general update that somehow is causing this interruption.

I recommend to go over the installed update list, see what is the delta from yesterday when all worked fine and try to uninstall that update.

That being said - 1 CPU still is not enough for a full installation of LoadRunner 12.55

Hope this helps,

Lior

Re: HP Load Runner Controller is not Responding

Hi Rahul,

Is it always in Not Responding state for any scenario? What happens when you create a new empty scenario?

Thanks,
