HP Loadrunner Controller and Generators in different domain?

Jump to solution

Hi,

if the firewall is open and allowed between the controller and its generators in different domains (QAdom\ vs PPdom\), do they have to be in the same domain? because we don't want to migrate our Controller (licenses) into the new domain.

Thank you for your advice.

Hi,

Controller and Load Generators do not have to be located in the same domain. if you have a firewall between them you can use MI Listener component to accomodate the communication, if there is no restriction and the Controller can "see" the Load Generator and relevant ports are opened, you can connect directly
