How to download Excel File Using Loadrunner

Hi,

I am recording  web application using web(http/html) protocol, in the application i have to download and upload the same excel file.

I am not able to download the excel file, how can i accomplish this. Please help me.

all the data is coming in the response like this "\x03\x04-\x00\x00\x00\x08\x00Ã#RIZM¼Éÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ"

I am able to upload the file, the only problem is with download.

the link you have provided is just to verify the data but not to download.

Actually, i have to download the excel file in some folder and upload the same to application again.

I searched in google but no luck.

I used to have the code for downloading and validating a file but can't locate it, it's essentially the same as the above link though.

As for uploading a file, I've not tried this before. Have you tried recording the script in URL mode to see if the upload step is recorded?
